December has been a busy month for the Coordination Secretary Committee and we are happy to announce the following new repeater coordinations.

This weekend we sent 187 annual notices out.  If you get one, please make sure to verify that all the information is correct, sign, and either send it back to us via US mail, or scan the document and email it to us.  Please reply by December 31st, 2018.

As of today, Dave Karr KA9FUR will no longer be the Frequency Coordinator for the Wisconsin Association of Repeaters.  This is part of an overall plan to move the responsibilities to a committee and the board rather than one individual.

Dave has been with WAR for many years, and was instrumental to its success.  He dedicated many hours as a volunteer doing research and antenna modeling, and allowed us to borrow from his expertise and wisdom that, simply put, made this organization better.  He actually designed the software for frequency coordinators that is still used in many states around the country.

He will be sorely missed, but we all wish him every success in his future ventures.
