Why does WAR ask for so much information in the coordination forms?

WAR requires a lot of specific information because it is the best way to formulate which repeater pair (if any) will not only work for your area, but also not cause any issues with neighboring repeaters. Items like repeater location, power, antenna type, and antenna height, all help us look at how your repeater footprint is going to look, and verify that it’s not going to cause issues with other repeaters.
